Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:​

  • Mowing (electric zero-turn and push mowers)

  • Leaf blowing and removal

  • Garden bed weeding

  • Transplanting

  • Hedge trimming and pruning

  • Mulching

  • Light masonry

  • Snow removal

​

Requirements:​

  • Must reside within reasonable driving distance to Acton, MA.

  • Driver's license preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • 1 year landscaping experience preferred, or the ability to learn quickly.

​

Compensation & Benefits:​​

  • $1 raise every 6 months.

  • Flexible hours.

  • Time-and-a-half overtime (unlimited).

  • Paid holidays available after 90 days of employment.

  • Bonuses given for excellent performance and/or long shifts.

Landscaping Crew Leader

Monday - Friday

Full-Time

The crew leader would be responsible for supervising team members, overseeing day-to-day activities, communicating with clients on site, and managing the team when the owner is out of town.

​

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Mowing (electric zero-turn and push mowers)

  • Leaf blowing and removal

  • Garden bed weeding

  • Transplanting

  • Hedge trimming and pruning

  • Mulching

  • Light masonry

  • Snow removal

 

Requirements:

  • 3 years of landscaping experience.

  • 1 year of management experience.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Must have driver's license and reliable vehicle. (You do not need a pickup truck. If you use your vehicle on the job, mileage/gas will be reimbursed.)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting pay is $22-26/hr depending on experience.

  • $1 raise every 6 months.

Virtual Executive Assistant (Part-Time)

Monday - Friday

20 hours/ week

Flexible schedule

The Executive Assistant would be responsible for assisting the CEO with HR, billing, marketing, and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone with high attention to detail, organization skills, and a pleasant, customer-service-oriented personality.

​

This position is 100% virtual and comes with a flexible schedule, meaning you set your own hours.

Duties

  • Communicate on the phone with the CEO throughout the day, alerting him of incoming emails and transcribing his responses.

  • Proofread documents for spelling, grammar, and clarity.

  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments/ meetings.

  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries.

  • Find speaking opportunities for the CEO (environmental advocacy).

  • Send estimates, contracts, and bills to clients.

  • Handle HR duties, such as selecting medical and dental plans, hiring new employees, and scheduling trainings.

  • Assist with marketing and social media campaigns.

​

Required Skills

  • 1 or more years of Service Autopilot experience.

  • Excellent spelling and grammar.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

​

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working within a blue collar industry.

  • Passion for environmentalism.

  • HR experience.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and software platforms quickly.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
